- 我的硕士论文研究《‘By whom I was left behind?’ Identity negotiation and identity struggles of Chinese leftover women》从应用语言学的角度,基于访谈的研究方法对中国“剩女”的身份构建和身份挣扎进行了深入探讨,对于社会语言学,性别研究和跨文化领域都有着重要意义。

I am a teaching fellow at the Department of Business English at Qufu Normal University. My research interests cover intercultural communication, identity construction, discourse analysis and any other focus in the realm of Applied linguistics.

- My MSc dissertation, through conducting semi-structured interviews, investigated how Chinese leftover women (‘sheng-nv’) negotiate their identities in their continuous struggles to meet social expectations. The research is entitled “ ‘By whom I was left behind?’ Identity negotiation and identity struggles of Chinese leftover women”

Teaching role
I am delighted to join the department in a full-time capacity as a Teaching Fellow and to carry out innovation-based and interaction-focused teaching on BA in Business English.
